Some money that is!
No....I don't need any help, but thanks anyway! But I do need/want suggestions.
I was going to buy either a EO Tech/Aimpoint scope for my SOCOM 16, but have decided against it.
I've spent some of the money and have only $300 left.
Give me some suggestions PLEASE!!!!
I'm good in the gun department and even better in the ammo department.
Have a GB and Wetterlings hatchet so I'm good there also.
Just bought a reloader and all the stuff for that.

I'd keep it around for a rainy day, but I know me better than that. My wife saves enough money! I thought the woman was the spender :-)

Like my grandma always told me....."it must be hot, cuz you can't keep it in your pocket" :-) Good ole grandma...sure do miss her!

I think you shoulda bought an EOTech.... :p

But since you have money left, just do some surfing at these sites and help stimulate our stagnant economy. Do it for the children!!!!

Get an Aimpoint or EOTech (I have a strong preference for Aimpoint but that is another thread in itself)! The SOCOM16 with an Aimpoint is pure magic. With that setup you own everything from the tip of your muzzle out to 200 yards (300 with some practice). Run, don't walk to your preferred Aimpoint point of purchase!

If you want to get rid of money quick, this is the place to find out how.

Got any knives from the custom makers around here? Lots of great ones, and for three bills you could do business with a couple of them and have change left over. You gotta watch out for that Breeden guy though ;)

Milford, MI?!?

Jump on 23 south and get off at M50 and go west for about 1/8th mile. Make another right at Cabelas drive and park on the left near the RV parking spots. Go inside and drop that $300.

Come back here and let us know what you bought.;)

+1 for Bryan and I would suggest looking at Stompers too! Both are great guys to work with and well below your budget.

I decided not to get a Eo Tech or Aimpoint only because I've read TOO many posts about people having trouble with them. Eo Tech specifically. The only complaint I've heard about the Aimpoint is that people without the sights are just as good of a shot.
Right now, I'm a good shot with the iron sights out to 100 yards. From the bench, I can consistently get 4" groups from 5 rounds. Everything I've read about the "red dot" sights suggest that they are only good to about 100-200 yards anyway because they obscure your sight picture.

Sorry custom knife guys, but I'm not buying knives either. I've been experimenting with making knives lately. Don't worry about me selling any because between my family and my work load at work, I have very little free time and what I make will be for me :-)
I work in tool and die and have a almost unlimited supply of any kind of steel I want so it cuts down my costs a bit to experiment.
But you did make me think of something I've been thinking of buying....a good belt sander for my knives.

Thanks for the suggestions and I will take a look at all those web sites! I'll keep you posted on what I FINALLY get :-)

Thanks everyone!
