Looking to buy a forge

If I decided to build a forge. I have an air tank that measured 10" across. So I put 2" ceramic wool and a floor of fire brick then coat it with the proper refractory, what would be an appropriate burner? The space would be app. a six inch space about 14 or so inches long.
 
Hinged front, got it. Now I just have to figure out how to mass produce it and have it look decent.

Oh, roughly 160K BTU. Either blown or a dual burner for that size chamber. 8" diameter pipe with 1.5" wool, 12" long brings you in at 94K BTU, which costs about $4 per hour in propane to run.
 
Thanks for the info Charles. Gives me a lot to consider. Still not sure what direction I want to go.
