looking to buy a kershaw

I kind of like the 1660 ckt.
Did they ever make a leeks with a polished black scale other than the Black and gold.
 
In general, framelocks are considered stronger and more reliable.
With that said, I've never had a Kershaw liner lock fail me.
One thing about the Leek is there is a flavor for anyone.
Just pick one you like and go with it.

If you like a blade from one Leek and a handle from another,
they're all interchangeable. You can mix and match to your
hearts content.

This is my fav combo........
psst...you will be hard pressed to find that blade, so
you might want to try a diff combo.

thats sweeeeet the purple smoke is nice.
I ended up buying a white and black smoke.

I have seen the TANTO leeks on ebay.
They aren't cheap thats for shore....:):)

You've seen the 1660T on the bay. 13C26 steel. A great knife.
I have one of those as well. The blades on those two knives
came from the 1660TCKT with S30V steel. The last ones were
made in 04. Very hard to find now. They were the 1st Random
Leeks made. I think you'll really enjoy that white and black smoked
Leek. You can never have to many Leeks. ;)
 
I can't wait to get it.

I do love my Scallion and really wonder why they made lots of different chives and leeks but not alot of different scallions????
Anyone know why?? I would love to pick up a few more different scallions.
They didn't even make a Black and Gold scallion from what I was told.
What gives??
 
If I remember correctly, Thomas said the black and gold Leek was kind of
an on again off again item. If a customer requests....say 1000 B&G Leeks,
there on. I guess it's a demand thing. If a customer requested 1000 B&G
Scallions, there probably would be a good chance of seeing them.
Of course I could be wrong.....but we have gotten sprint runs of 500
certain Kershaws because of a customer request.

Then again we have gotten our way just by pestering the hell out of Thomas. ;)

Thomas, Tim, Craig and all the fine folks at Kershaw do listen to us, but
if the demand isn't there, it's just not gonna happen.

I really think that the scallion is a great EDC size, But then again I have not gotten my leek yet....:):):)
