Ahh, the perils of buying my first custom. Can't decide which one to get. I am currently interested in these four. Any other suggestions, or info. about these knife makers would be appreciated.

The Van Elkins knife is only $250, but the grind is uneven and there are a couple of sandblasting pits on the blade.

Easy choice for me. The WD Pease. He makes a fine custom knife and this piece is a fine example of such. A very good looking custom folder with a premium gold lip pearl handle.

Wm Henry makes a fine folder. I often carry one, however it's not really a custom knife in my opinion.

The W.D. Pease would be my choice as well, and I assume it fits into the scheme of your budget. In addition to being my choice for personal carry, I believe it will hold value better than the others should you decide to sell later.
