Looking to customize/upgrade my Spartan nyx.

I'm looking at customizing some micarta scales with a little bit if a palm swell. Also would like a nicer Jude's or leather sheath to go with it. Has anyone done this to there's? Any suggestions?

Are you talking about doing this yourself? The scales can be done with a dremel and sandpaper. The sheath is easy to make too, just need all the material.

I think I'm going to try my hand at the scales. I have a friend who does leather work for a living and may go all out on a sheath with him. It's amazing to me that as much as I've searched I've not been able to find any custom nyx. Maybe I'll start a trend.

I know I'll be watching what you do as I have and carry a nyx regularly. I think the reason you don't see many customized nyxs is because you dont see many nyxs or Spartans in general.
