Looking to downsize

I just re-read through the original posts and saw where you don't like the Juices - sorry about the recommendation! For what its worth, Costco here in Charlotte, NC has carried the KF4 for a while now for only $19.99. I think it's around the $40 - $50 range on the internet.

which Costco in Charlotte would that be? Or is there only one? I am not too far from there. Thank you ahead for the info.

I'm not sure if there's more than one, but the one I found the deal at is the Costco near I-77 and Tyvola Road. They have the Supertool 200 (comes with a lighter and pair of binoculars) for $60 and the KF4 for $19.99. As of a couple of weeks ago they still had a ton of both. Check in the tool section on the right side of the store as you walk in. Have fun!

The Mechanic's not bad, but I'd really need a model with the corkscrew for the precision screwdriver (not for the corkscrew). That's just not negotiable for me. Something like the Compact with pliers and a dedicated Phillips driver would be pretty darn close to perfect.

I now have a modded cybertool with blade and combo tool, pliers and cyber tool layer (i.e. phillips, torx, etc.) and corkscrew with mini screwdriver. great tool. since i carry a classic (alox) i let the scissors go.

maybe you can find someone to do a mod for you. mine was done by bill (scibeer) over at sosak, so actually i have a scibeertool :D

I'm a big fan of the Victorinox Cyber Tool line (I EDC a Cyber Tool 41). And, yes, I use the corkscrew!

The only downside of the Cyber Tool, compared to larger multitools, is the small size of the pliers. But if you don't need heavy duty pliers, one of the Cyber Tools will probably be perfect for you.
