Im looking to have a custom outdoor/hunting knife made out of vanadis 4e. What maker would you all recommend? Thanks.

I have fixed blades from David Crawford, Big Chris and David Winston, and Gene Ingram among others, I like them all, but I really like David's work. Their all worth tracking down.

Put my name in the search box and look over some of my work. If you feel I'm up to the task send me an email or give me a call. If you have a source for some Vanadis 4E I'd be glad to use it. I know of only one person who may have some. Once I have a better idea of your size requirements I'll try to run some down.

Well to give you an idea of what im looking for. Im looking for a knife around .220 thick, and 5.5 inches in length, with a nice tapered convex grind, similar to a bark river bravo 1. I'll look into your work tomorrow. Thanks for the reply.
