Looking for Honest opinions, This is my 6th bushcraft knife i have made. I haven't been able to post in a while due to work but its great to be back at it. Specs are as follows

1095 steel
blade is 4 1/4 handle is 4 1/2
1/8 inch thick
Walnut scales with nickel pins

Thanks for all of your comments and ideas in advance!

I like your knife, I would round the front of the scales a bit if it were mine, and I would take the sanding up a notch in either technique or grit level--seek out the Nick Wheeler hand sanding video, it's easily findable on YouTube and is considered by many as the end all be all on hand sanding, I've seen many of Nicks knives, and it's incredible how a 220 grit finish done by him looks so even and complete. Good stuff to emulate!

It looks like a good beginners knife. It has some blocky lines that just kill any folw. The handles would look much better if they were radiused or even angled at the ricasso, a slight angle on the plunge line can aid in the visual flow also. The grinds are very short and somewhat inconsistent. The handle looks comfortable and well finished.

From one beginner to another, keep it up. Finish something, review it, improve upon it.

Awesome!! this is exactly what im looking for. Thanks for all the advice I will def be applying it to the next build.

Bring the bevel atleast 3/4 of the blade and round the beginning of the scales where they meet the blade

Yep,
Higher grind - either FFG or at least 3/4 height.

The top and bottom corner of the scales at the ricasso are thin sharp points. They will pop of the first time they bump something in use. Round the corners and make the front a slight curve. It also isn't needed to taper the scales all the way down to the ricasso.

TIP:
Do the front of the scales while off the knife. After drilling the tang holes through the scales, take them off the knife and temporarily pin and tape them together. Shape the front as desired, sand and buff it. Then mount the scales, shape, and finish the rest of the handle.

I am curious as to why a higher grind? I hope I dont sound dumb for asking lol i was going for a bushcraft knife with a scandi grind so i assumed a lower bevel at roughly 22 degrees is a scandi.
