A friend turned me onto these forums and I'm becoming attracted to these beautiful custom knives. I've shut down my cabinet/furniture shop and have some koa and other exotic woods. I was hoping to find someone willing to trade material for a knife or hatchet/hawk. First time with pictures so bare with me.
This koa was from a monster tree in Hawaii that a world renowned furniture builder was able to procure. I used to have a picture of the tree. I was going to build a jewelry box out of it as you can see with the dovetails. If you need better pictures or want me to put some oil on to see grain I can. Thanks for looking.
