Sorry to hear the bad news. I've heard a lot of bad relationship stories as of late (I had my own very recently), so I understand. Hopefully this is all for the best.

Yeah, I have been through it too. It sucks. But your life WILL get better. Been almost 7 years since mine, and not to brag, but I'm way off better, emotionally,financially, you name it, life is better for me now. As for my ex, my feelings are this- if she wins the lotto, great. If she gets run over by a truck, great. I dont care either way. One if my life's mottos is "living well is the best revenge" and I truly believe it. You will look back someday and wonder why you put up with her for so long.

Thanks to everyone for the support and words of encouragement. I'll have to think on my name change for a bit but i was thinking of going to Nix. How about nixdangler? :D I feel good about the move and i think its the best thing for me to do at this point in my life.
 
I'm about 20 miles South of Olympia.
