Looks like production bushfingers are up at USA Made Blade!!

I'm not sure I understand the grooves in the micarta. Without polishing it, it is grippy by nature......

Are the screws removable?
Looks like a great way to customize.
Are they machined custom for the knife or are they a standard size available in different finishes?

The scales are remvoable. In the future we may offer new scales for customization. They would have to be fitted to each knife though because I hand finish the spines.

Are those grooves in the scales? It appears there are spiral cut grooves! Kinda like a honeybaked ham!

Nathan the Machinist does the scales with a CNC mill and that is a finish he commonly does. It is done with a mill machine.

Is there plans to do any other models? Like maybe the recluse
Take a look at Bud's latest sneak peak and you'll see the model being used for the production hiking buddies. I am pretty sure I remember reading that there would be a mid tech Bushcrafter. The Recluse seems like a likely candidate.

We are in the process of doing the Hiking Buddy and Runt. Then the Camp Knife. Then the Bushcrafter. I can see doing the Bushboot, and others soon!

I ordered the black micarta version from Whitty yesterday. Really looking forward to receiving it. Been wanting a stainless belt knife for a while now and I think these are going to fill that niche perfectly.
