Ok this feels a bit awkward, but I figured better late then never. All things considered this needs to be said.

First please let me apologize for the time it took to write this. But I've been hospitalized and out side US. And while I can't complain about the quality of care I've received, and it was almost free, but ever since I came to, the Doc was rather strict about allowing me to get up, and move about. And I've received a nice dose of sedatives just because I decided to walk on my own to the bathroom. Me and the doc/nurces/friends had a lot of disagreements regarding the phrase "What ever doesn't kill me, makes me stronger." Long story short, I was right, and here I am back home able to type this (much thanks to the docs the nurses and friends).

Now to get to the main points.

As some of you may remember I managed slightly bend a BATAC some time back, and I mentioned it here. I've got a lot of advice and I was told to email Jerry. But before I did that I got a response from the Big Boss Hog himself, saying that I should send him the knife and it will be fixed or replaced ither way it will be "100%" when I get it back.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!

I cant stress this enough! I didn't get the knife @ 100% It is at 110%!!!! Not only is it straight but Jerry has re tipped it, resharpened it, added a new layer of coat and what I absolutely love about it, he has given it a bit of sharpening on the back side of the tip, and he did all that without me asking him to fix that or do that, he did it free of charge. Now its almost a custom job!!!

THANK YOU JERRY VERY MUCH!!! GREAT COMPANY!!! GREAT KNIFES!!!!GREATEST WARRANTY!!!AND GREAT PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH!!!
BUSSE FOR LIFE AND NO REGRETS!!!!!!

Now for another apology, this goes out to Alex aka Jaxx, I missed out on the mug, sorry man, I was to busy and the mail man didn't feel like leaving it on the porch after that well I didn't really have time to arrange for additional payment to be sent for that shipping. My bad man, all my fault you are a great guy to deal with. Once again sorry.

And just to finish this off, you guys are great, a pleasure to know all of you. The gentlemen that I had the pleasure of dealing with so far do not need my word to reaffirm their integrity, as many here have had the pleasure to deal with them as well. But just in case there is new piglet here who doesn't know who is who, or somebody accidentally stumbles on this and doesn't know if the rumors are true. They are!!! Busse knives are tough enough to trust with everything that can be thrown at them. Boss Hog and the Company, stand behind their claims and their blades. People who buy these knives (are crazy bastards, but) are the best people you'd ever hope to meet or deal with.

Cheers!!!!

Hogs have all the fun... Great pic!

glad you are well... you must be one hell of a man to bend a BATAC!!!

And I thought only Big Dave Brown could bend one of those babies.

You live and learn.

Glad to hear you're satisfied ... even gladder to hear you're well.

I may have had too much Rochefort 10 tonight, but I'm very impressed by the stories of Busse's customer service. I can't wait to make one of the shows and meet the crew in person!

some great looking piglets there. All they need is a piece of infi (and maybe some delicious roasting and basting).

No worries about me, I heal like a stray dog. The biggest pain right now are those pills that interfere with my drinking (it seems modern medicine has forgotten about the healing powers of alcohol, and that it can prevent any infection better then any pill). But I can finally get to play around with that new BATAC of mine.

Hey, Volk! Glad you're feelin' better! :)
No need for apologies, man  It's all good. I do still have your package, and if you're gonna be home for awhile to receive it, I'll drop it back in the mail sometime this week. No worries on the shipping, just lemme know that you'll catch it this time. :D

BTW, nice pic. Reminds me of nights at the fountain during BLADE for some reason... :foot::thumbup:

Is there a pic of the actual blade posted? I would love to see it.

Thanx Jaxx, I appreciate it. I'm at a slightly different address, still in Los Angeles though, I'll send ya the address. You are already top notch guy in my book.

I had that picture for a while and was just looking for an opportunity to post it, before I left. But now I thought it was a perfect time for the three piglets to show up.

Toast, I don't have the picture of the bended one, and as I said it wasn't even bad enough to call the knife unusable. But I'll take a few pics to show of my renewed BATAC, have to warn you though, I don't have a professional camera.

Ok, here are the pics, sorry, but I suck at it and, i took em with $150 camera.
