Well .270 would have probably, performed a bit better, but on the down side, I would probably cry the first time I'd use it, cause the .27 is a limited edition one. What I need now is a BM, or another large blade to chop with. Then I'd have GW as a small knife, BATAC as medium, and BM as the big bad chopper. Oh well, one day...

Man, these things just grow on you, the longer you have one of these knives the more you love them...and the more of them you want to get.

I don't know about that.
The .187" CGs are nice and all, but...
the fatty .270" LEs feel GREAT in the hand, heft and all.

The primary bevel is the same on both of them,
so cutting performance is the same.
It's a smallish knife, so it doesn't weigh that much,
and at .270"... it's a TANK!

Ok, sorry for bringing this thread up, but there is some related news.

Thank you Jaxx, you just made my Christmas.
After god knows how long (mostly due to my own shortcomings) I have received THE BUSSE MUG!!!

Now to set the record straight, Jaxx has mailed the mug promptly after receiving the payment. The mailman didn't deliver and told me to pick it up at the post office. But due to not being home I didn't know and then couldn't get it. So they shipped the mug back to Jaxx. I went across the pond, and got hurt then just randomly show back up here. And guess what happened?

Well if you read this thread up to this point you'd know. At no extra charge Jaxx has shipped me for the second time my MUG. Concidering there was a limited run of them, he had all rights to sell it to the next guy on the list, but he didn't. And it has arrived just in time for Christmas.
