Loose blade on Flash

Have any of you guys had problems with blade play on your flash? I have had mine for a little while and the blade seems to have some excessive vertical play in it. I have tightened the pivot but the problem is still there.

Any suggestions would be great.
 
had a similar problem with my flash II, Once i tightened it , it would seem to untighten its self after a few flicks. Blade play wasn't too bad but enough to annoy you.
 
I have a Flash2 for about 3 years now and use it often and have not had this prob that you are having. Will have another look tonight though
 
My flash blade didn't open smootly. I had to loose the blade a little. Just fine tune the screw and the knife is superb! Had the same on my Trident by the way.

Maybe you have to tight it even a little more. But don't make it too tight, or the blade won't open smootly.
 
Yeah any tighter and it would have been difficult to open, I wish i still had my flash II, It was stolen from me recently. I wish warranty covered that :(
 
No play on my Flash I. In fact it is probably the knife with the least amount of play of the ones that I own right now.
 
I recently sold my Flash II, but when I still had it, I used a drop of loctight on the pivot and never caused me any problems, did not loosen up, and the blade did not have any play. And I kinda regret selling it now...
