Buying a vise is very unnecessary for the job. I have changed countless scales on SAK's and have never needed a vise once. If you cannot do it by hand just stand on it. Literally.

I was just giving a better option to the one provided in the video. I've never had to change the scales on a Victorinox SAK, as I've only recently acquired one, and that would be my very first (the Fieldmaster). My second one is on the way though (the Farmer), I may also get myself a Pioneer as well.

I'm sure you will love the Farmer. A pioneer would be great and you can find the black ones inexpensively.
