Lord of the Rings Strider Knife

Did this one for a customer this week and wanted to show it off. I liked the style.

Shop Details:
Saw Blade Steel was cut out and Normalized @ 1500 degrees until non magnetic, three times, to remove stresses and align crystals. Heat Hardened until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in 125 degree quality oil. Tempered the blade to a straw hardness @ 425 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool and repeating once more. Sword was file tested and is shown to be very hard.

Total Length = 20“
Blade Length = 13 ¾ “
Blade Width = 2 1/8 “
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 6 ¼ ”
Handle Width = 1 ¼ “
Handle: Tiger Maple Wood
Weight = 1 lb 3 oz
Hand stitched Leather Sheath

Thanks guys! I'm working on a video for it. I'll attach it to the thread when it's release, just for grins. We'll put some LOTR clips and music in it.

Thanks blade brothers. I really enjoyed making this knife. It was hard letting it go.
