losing knives

I lost a BM940 for over a month before cleaning out the crevices of my recliner and finding it just chillin' on one of the wooden frame. I must've dozed off while watching a movie late at night and the knife fell out of my pocket. Boy, did I miss it. I was so happy when I found it. So my suggestion is to start cleaning around. You just might get lucky.

Same thing happened with my ZT 0770 CF.

Welcome, G.Moll. Losing a knife always sucks. I lost an el cheapo Spyderco knockoff back in 1996-97. I was on a day-long hiking trip, and it either squeezed out of my pocket where I stopped for lunch, or it got it's pocket clip snagged in thick brush and was jerked out while we were hiking. Even tho' it was only a $10 knife, I went back the next day and re-hiked the entire trail in and out to try and find it... Never saw it again.

Oh well, whatcha gonna do..? Well I'll tell you what I did: I went out and immediately bought 2 REAL Spyderco Clipits (couple of early Delicas). Never lost either of those!! And I've been collecting Spydies ever since - probably owned over 60 in my lifetime. Here's a most recent shot:

1.) Spyderco delica
2.) Spyderco Pro Grip
3.) Spyderco Dyad
...and a few that I don't remember.

I could clip about anything in my pocket and lose it, but I once drove around the job for 1/2 the day and the 45min trip home with a half eaten can of peaches (left over from lunch) sitting on the bumper of my truck.

Thats good though it shows that your not a crazy out of control driver.
Some people have asked me how i have the original rear brakes and have inky changed my front brakes once on my truck, that i bought brand new and now has 240k miles on it. I use them i just dont beat on them

I've lost two Delicas over the years, the last one just last December. Still hoping that one turns up. I don't like the 4s as much as the earlier versions for some reason.

I lost a large 21 silver dog paws sebenza. Been over a year now and it still hurts.....! Worst part is I did not know it was missing till I went to get it. I had a 4 CRK rotation I was working with and every week I would switch up. When I went to put the umnumzaan back and get the dog paw it was not there. So was kinda hard to retrace steps. I still hold out hope I will find it in a bag or something, but have since moved 2 times, so chances are slim.
