Lost a friend today

Just got the news today that one of my buddies, Colby Roman has passed on. He was on a house boat with some of his friends from church and one of his friends fell overboard and was sucked under by the current. Colby saw his friend disappear under the water and immediately dove in after him and after some struggle was able to drag him back to the surface. The people on the boat pulled his friend up to safety but after saving his friend Colby was sucked back under by the current and drown.

Its so strange to think he is gone. But even though Im heart broken I know that he was close to God when he died and that Ill see him again some day. He was such a bold and selfless person. Even if he had known he was going to die he still would have jumped in and sacrificed himself to save his friend. Thats just the kind of person he was.

Sorry to hear of this Bro!!! For a man to give up his life that another may live, I can't think of any greater honor than that. As stated he die a hero and I hope for all time that that is the image people have of him. What a fine thing but yet such a tragedy. God speed Colby!!!
