The Lost Mountain Iron Works and ESEE relationship will be dissolved following the current production run. We were unable to come to an agreement that made financial sense to us both. We wish them nothing but the best in their future endeavors. We additionally thank them sincerely for their help and guidance in bringing our pack to market.

The kits will be available individually WITHOUT KNIFE, FIRETOOL, OR LOKSAKS with a LMIW patch. Please see our website for upcoming details and price changes. Yes we will ship internationally.

As always thank you for your support and MADE in the USA.

Just to be clear, we never had a partnership. Lost Mountain was our vendor on the RAT Packs and we just ran into some supply disagreements when it comes to production timelines. Nothing more. Just know there is absolutley no hard feelings between the two of us and anyone needing a RAT pack at the present time should go directly to Lost Mountain. They make great gear.

To give a little more information here, we are redesigning the RAT Pack after listening to the customers that have bought and used it and we we already talking to another vendor . I should have a time line for the new ones in a couple of weeks after details are worked out with the new vendor. The future RAT Packs will come in at better availability and a better price which is good for customers. The quality will remain as high as you have come to expect of us and we will continue to listen to what you guys want. I will have some more info in a few days. And as Tony pointed out we have always shipped internationally but the Pay Pal site does not reflect the overseas shipping charges so we asked folks to contact us for a rate. Mike

Damn it! I was going to order mine in black, but I guess I will wait for the new product to show :) any teaser images guys? Or late night bar drawings scatched onto napkins?

Here is the picture you requested :D

Info will be inbound... Just hold yer Horses :D  ;) :p

I did not even know LMIW made the PACKS... :(

I guess for us customer this is better since we will get more options (the old pack and the new pack) :D

That's too bad. I love my pack kit.

Mike and Jeff, if there is going to be a redesign for another vendor, one thing that popped up on mine was the snap on the molle strap being maybe a little too close to the last row of webbing. When snapped, it wanted to pull up on the last row of webbing and pop the stitching out.

Yeah, I have been looking at the whole MOLLE system there and have a couple of ideas I think will greatly improve that. But I want to wait until I talk to this new vendor with the changes ans get it in stone before I start leaking details:) I am happy to take any suggestions but we can start another thread for that. Mike

Mike P Please let me know when you find out! I like to Order one,and will it be for the ESEE 6 ?

What is the status of that big Junglas sheath they were (are?) doing?

We are located in Kalamazoo Mi. The "Junglas sheath " AKA The Foot Long sheath will be available on our website , The "Rat Pack" AKA The Works will be available bare boned - or with kydex insert to fit various sizes and manufacturers as well.

Charlie - please keep us posted on when the foot long is available for sale!
Good luck - "the works"/ESEE pack kit is a good product.

That's a great price and actually cheaper than what we were paying for them.
