I've looked all in my truck, in the couch, called the restaurant where I had lunch and went back to the park where I played with my son that morning. I think it probably came out at the park...looked everywhere but didn't see any sign of it. Hopefully someone found it that will appreciate it!

I had it in the watch pocket of my jeans and I think it was a tad too big to be in there since this particular pair of jeans has a smallish watch pocket. It probably got pushed right out playing at the park.

Looked for/wanted a Charlow for a long time, finally got one and then lost it... :( Loved the thinness of the single blade, loved the bone and it was just an all around cool knife, definitely one of my favorites.

Oh well, it's just a knife and it's not like I don't have any others to use.

Here it was yesterday morning before the disappearance:

And my favorite pic of it :(

Oh no, that was (is) a real beauty, commiserations :(

You have a good approach to the loss though, to hope that whoever finds it appreciates it.

Therapy thoughts sent.

It's a ghastly irritation. Last year I lost my Chambriard le compact stag. A really big favourite of mine but lost on a work-trip, probably hotel. Really vexed me losing that knife as it was very pretty, but like you say, it's only an object. Better to use and lose than never use at all!:D I still cling to the faint hope it will turn up, but it's getting dimmer....

Bummer. When I first pulled up the post and saw the picture underneath the writing I thought for sure I was going to read about a happy ending. Hopefully you're able to snag one out of the next run.

I am sorry for your loss. That was a beauty. Maybe some other Dad and son will find it and it becomes a memento of the fun times they had at the park. Hey at least there might be a bright side.

I hate losing stuff, knives in particular, and I've had my share of them disappear. Sorry that you are going through that and hope that it turns up. Maybe it will help to post up a sign in the park.

That's a Bitter pill to swallow.
I lost my PPP Ebony spear point single blade- I to this day am still gutted- My good mate Paul grabbed me by the collar and dragged me out of depression by sending me his two bladed Soear- Something U will never forget - thank you Paul.

We have just got through a giveaway- and with other knife purchases my Visa is pretty topped up.

If someone wants to go in with me- why don't we order off Charlie or Barry a not yet released TC Barlow- anyone else keen to help our friend out here?

Ouch that hurts! Hopefully it turns up at some point. I get very paranoid when I carry my Charlows. I'm constantly checking my watch pocket to make sure it's still there.

Man, that's less than ideal, Flint Hills; sad news.

I never thought about this before, but is it possible to insure EDC knives? So far, I don't have much cash tied up in the knives I own, but it seems like some folks carry what I'd consider quite valuable knives.

I'll be in that syndicate Duncan. Lets see if it floats eh? I hate losing things. I also wonder if one may be pre reserved from the Waynorth himself -although that would probably open the a flood gate of complications and increase his already substantial work load by about 15,000 per cent.

Well, Flint Hills, at least it wasn't a spear point.

j/k. I'm sorry for your loss. There's one lucky SOB out there somewhere in Kansas. :(

Meako you legend.

Why don't we try to make it a four way thing so we need two other guys- and then we can use paypal as he gift mode to send the equaled amount to either Charlie or Barry.

Probably Barry would be the better bet - Charlie has enough on his plate.
What do you say Mesko Sir- thank you my friend for this.

Do we have two others?? the total will only be $30 each.

I'll throw in 30 just let me know. I may forget so please remind me.

Lost a Charlow! Attention - attention, this is Deputy Barney Fife, This is an emergency, Repeat, This is an emergency! :)
Hope it finds it's way home, Bob
