Sorry to hear about losing your Charlow, losing a "production" knife is bad enough but losing what many would consider a "grail" is even worse. I lost my yellow CV sodbuster that my wife got me right before my son was born and to this day it still bums me out. I carried it for three years straight and lost it when my mother-in-law got her car stuck in the snow just down the road from our house. To this day when I'm out walking my dog in that area I still scan the ditches for it, hopeful that it will show up. And for whatever reason I have never been able to bring myself to get another one because it won't be the same in my mind as the one that I lost. It may be just a knife but there are memories that are attached to them that contribute to how much we enjoy them.
