Lost my favorite knife...

I havent seen my purple combat troodon since I carried it a few weeks ago when I went out with some friends. Hopefully its just hidden somewhere within my possessions, but i did a detailed cleaning of my house today and didnt find it. I have a sick feeling in my stomach, I love purple knives and companies rarely put them out in that color. Im going to tear the house apart looking, wish me luck.
 
Very frustrating. I lost my favorite pocket knife two weeks ago. Searched the house, car, RV and went to a couple of stores I was at. Nothing.

I've ordered a replacement and will try to be more careful.

Hoping you find yours.

I'd check the laundry bin, I did that once.

Check the car and washing machine, ours is a front loader and has a lip that stuff gets stuck in.

Just checked all the chairs and jeans/jacket pockets. Now im going to go through all the drawers and my shoes.
 
Make sure you check under and around the driver's seat of your car thoroughly. I've lost a slipjoint or two down UNDER the seat track, and just didn't see it in the darkness because it was essentially hidden by the carpet piling.
 
NOOOOOOO!!!!!! As a lover of all things purple, especially microtechs (got me a purple ultratech) , may the plum be with you in your search. The place that swallows more knives than any other is my car. The place between the seat and console is a knife kleptomaniac.
 
Random thought. I saw someone lose their knife when they picked up a bike. The spoke on the wheel grabbed the pocket clip and slipped it out his pocket and he did not even feel it. Found it hanging there an hour later
 
That's always a downer to misplace knives, well my Esee 5 is currently MIA, but I'm pretty sure it fell off under my bed. I'd go check but sprained my ankle recently while hiking. I also just throw quarters and dimes around the house so I can find them later when I'm in a monetary bind lol.
 
I temporarily lost my ZT 0801 when a garbage bag snagged on the pocket clip and pulled it out of my pocket without me noticing.
 
Man I hate seeing this happen :(

:( I know the sick feeling....I hope you find it!

I have been carrying around that same sickness in my gut for the past 2 weeks because despite my searching I cannot find my original Delica that I bought in 1991. It may be my least expensive knife, but it's my oldest Spyderco and it has huge sentimental value to me.

Never a cool feeling. I recently lost one while eating lunch in Mexico. I retraced my steps and returned an hour and a half later and it was under a table on the ground. Felt like getting a new knife!

I havent found it yet, but i did find my purple cerakote s90v manix 2 xl in a shoe in the back of my closet. I didn't even remember hiding that one. I think i have a problem, always stashing stuff and forgetting about it.
 
legato1, I hope you find your lost knife. I feel for you. Just think about the "happy" feeling you'll have when you locate it!
 
It always sucks when a knife gets lost. I feel for you. If I have the cash and really like the knife, I will pick up a second knife. Just in case. Even knowing that I have a second knife as a back up, I still get stressed when I can't find a knife.
 
Busy trying to round up my few knives for a photo session. Just found my Sod Buster today. Junior is still hiding somewhere.
