Aren't you heading back out to fight soon? Do you want a loaner knife if you can't find your ESEE-4.

Good luck on finding it man!!! I've lost stuff and re-traced multiple time to find it...

Yes I am. I greatly appreciate the offer but I think I will have enough time to get a new one before I go. I am going to head back out again this morning and look some more.

mlrs, if you can't find it I will gladly send you my new ESEE 4CP with MOLLE back. Anyone serving our country deserves a good knife, and I regret not being able to do the same (2 bum knees). Email me and its yours, not a loaner, no need for repayment, just simply yours. zack.fraser@gmail.com.

a good idea for anyone carrying equipment in a backpack or even on your body is to tie off with 550 cord, I am Infantry in the Army and the old guys would have us tie off everything to include our canteens. We were a walking ball of 550 but we never lost anything, I remember my first field excercise in Hawaii, I tied off my buck pocket knife, this was in early 1990's and guess what during an attack we were doing, it came out and I was on the ground so I just realed it in like a fish on a line and continued on with the mission.

Well, I guess it's official. I have been back 5 or 6 times and with different friends helping and have not found it. I guess it is gone.
