Lost my sunbrite beerscout

Thanks guys. I wrote this one off and it was a complete surprise to get back.

Hi-larious! I'll have to add "check your friend's couch" to the list of places for list items.

Mazel tov!

That's what the bail is for, you're supposed to tether it to your belt loop.
Ah - now the entire design of the product makes perfect sense to me. I kept focusing on the one insignificant part of it - the sharp blade. But now it is all clear - glow in the dark handle to make it easier to find at night, bail for self-attachment during a brief period of sobriety, and the word "beer" right on it so you'll remember why it's in your hand when you are sitting there staring at it.

:D:thumbsup::D
There's definitely a reason this pattern is so popular!

It is truly design perfection. The reason for their popularity, no doubt.

The sheepfoot blade is to discourage you from shankin' fools when you have become "lit up".

This is why it is a bad idea to have a beer-opener attached to a pocket knife. Makes it much more likely that you will have trouble remembering where it was last seen. :D
Coincidentally I was, "disoriented" when I lost it lol I took the bail off and put a leather loop on. Before I drink again I will tie that baby to me!

Perhaps a small instruction sheet should be included in all Beer Scout tubes in the future, with these precise words. Kind of like a sharpening instruction sheet. I'd love to see the little description diagrams, particularly the "shanking" prevention and "lit up".

Glad you found it shinyedges. :thumbsup: I have some that's been missing for a while. I know I have put them somewhere and just don't remember because I didn't carry. An elmax blur, a boker auto, a 14 boy's knife and a CRK small Sebenza 21. :eek::eek:

To truly prevent "shankin'", you would need a blade like the Navy knives, Buzz!

Randy, if I had misplaced that may knives, I would have a certified coronary! I am currently waiting for a lost modern folder to reappear.

Yikes! Yeah I would be rather frantic. I have a modern folder that I used to lose on a very regular basis. I dubbed it my lucky knife because it never failed to turn back up. Not wanting to tempt fate any further though, I now have it stored in my knife drawer for semi permanent safe keeping.

Glad you got your knife back shinyedges shinyedges , it is never fun losing something valuable to you.
