Guys 'n Gals,

Please keep your eyes peeled.
Had my BM-e stolen from my Jeep.
Goodly size chip about midway down the blade. Well used.

Also had my SH-e "lost" from checked bag coming through Miami from Costa Rica.

While we all feel your pain of loss, solicitations for knives belong in the exchange. Thanks, Mike.

Do bad things happen in threes?.....better keep a lock on my NO-e.

Feel better now. Someone who understands will read this. Wifey says " why are you so upset about a knife? You have lots of others". Yea,right.

Man, I am sorry. This sucks. Well, now you have an excuse to buy few more...that is of course if you need one:)

I would like to say that I'm able to keep a cool head in any situation but thieves really bring out the worse in me.
 
Man, I REALLY hope someone is stupid enough to post them on EBay. I'll keep my eyes open and let you know if I see anything come up.

All I can do in the meantime is hope that they trip and fall onto the pointy end. :grumpy:

No lie, Their probably selling it right now for $20.00 so they can buy a crack rock.

Ok. I appreciate the suggestions and support in my time of grief.
I have other larger Busse's, HOFSHLE,FNO, but nothing has the charm of my well used SH-e. We had been through some really tough times together and I miss her. While we all feel your pain of loss, solicitations for knives belong in the exchange. Thanks, Mike.
 
Csbjr, Sorry to read about the loss of those beauties, especially one you view as a worthy friend who shared adventures with you.

You may want to also put a post over on the Knives, Wanted To Buy forum here on BFC for a SH-E replacement. You may find someone cruising over there that has one they're willing to part with. The crowd around here is usually pretty avid about *keeping* their INFI. :D

STUPID THIEF asked his father, a neighbor half a mile down the road, to sell it(MY KNIFE which he had stolen) at the family yard sale and I spotted it.
After explaining that the knife had been stolen from me, I walked off with the knife without paying.
Long story short, the police showed up at my door. I promptly displayed the copy of a police report I had filed when my car was broken into. Included in that report was a description of the knife. That along with a receipt and picture of my BM and I was suddenly the good guy. I have filed charges. I am happy.
 
WOW! Congrats csbjr. You are one lucky SOB to get it back! Better go buy a Powerball ticket just in case it's a lucky streak :D
 
Glad its back. Hope they get what they deserve. BTW... not to be to demented but what was the asking price at the yard sale?:D

Yeah man, having a "goodly" sized chip in the blade easily knocks off 50%. I bet ya could have got 'em down to $12.50. :thumbup: :D

Haha Glad to hear that bum situation turned around. Hope that bandit gets what's comin to him.
 
Thats what I was afraid of, they did not even know what they had (good for you though). Since you filed charges, you could prolly get them for grand theft. The prices for rare busse's are out of sight right now.
Again congrats.
 
I would love to have seen the looks on the kids face. Here he's thinking that the cops are talking about some petty knife theft, then they tell him it's a 500-600 dollar blade. :eek:
