We miss you so much already Boo.... You were a loyal, noble companion.... Its hard to think of things without you dog...:( Be safe with yer momma, and we will see you soon...

Trace,

I'm so sorry to hear that. I lost my Akita of 14 years just a couple of months ago and know how devastated you must feel. Hang in there, brother.

Wait a couple weeks, choke down the "Im not ready yet" feelings and get another dog. I know it feels bad, but another new 4-legger in your life helps you heal.

Sorry to hear it. They always seem to deserve more than we can give them, and leave us too soon.

Gone far away,
at play till the day
you can get back together again.

Sory to hear Trace! Hope the empty space finds a new puppy soon. If I could change one thing in life, it would be that dogs live as long as humans. I have outlived a few of my best buddies and it never gets any easier.

I miss her so much already.... Godspeed Bandit....

Very sorry to hear that Trace. We lost our mutt ( not a Mutt but a very loving Pit Bull) while half a world away. Hit by a car. very hard, I'd had her for 13 yrs.

Very sorry to hear it. :(
I'll second what others have said- don't wait until you're "ready" to get another dog. You never will be ready to get another dog, but you are already ready to have another dog. -Not as a replacement, or to make you forget, but because there are so many dogs out there that need a loving home, and every home needs a loving dog. :)

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you can find solace in the knowledge that you gave her as much love as she gave you.

I’m very sorry to hear that my friend.

I’m sure your loyal companion had a better life for knowing you, as no doubt you and your family had from knowing him.

Dog are wonderful friends, and improve the lives of those they touch.

I still miss the dogs that have shared my life, my memories of them keep them alive.

I agree about the advice of getting another dog, a new friend will never replace the old one, but will still bring joy to your lives.

I have three dogs, all stay inside and are family members.....Think of all the good times you had, and time will help.....

Trace, bro, I am sorry:(.... I lost my buddy last year andI know exactly how you feel. Keep ya head up man.

I'm sorry to hear that Trace. It took me years before I could get another dog when I lost mine. Its rough knowing that you'll probably see your friend go long before you want him/her to.

God bless.

Sorry to hear that. I lost mine about 4 years ago, and was so distraught that I hit the bottle a little to hard. It's amazing how much they add to our lives. Like others have said, remember the good times.

You love them while they're here with you.
You grieve for them when they're gone.
Only once did I go looking for a 4-legged friend.
All the others found me.

For a Friend…

My eyes are glassy and filled with tears.
For the Lord has taken you back, it appears.
We have helped each other confront our fears.
You will be in my thoughts and heart for many years.

Rest in Peace, Bandit.
