Lost/Stolen MKT

Long story short: I sent my Medford TFF-2 in to get sharpened and FedEx lost it. If anyone happens to see this knife for sale anywhere please report it as stolen. Thanks.

I don't think I will even come across it since I cannot get anywere closer to knives that price... I hope you at least can get some money back from FeDex. Was it insured?

Were you worried about scratching the blade if you tried to sharpen it yourself or just didn't have the means to do it?

i can see why it was lost/stolen. beautiful knife. sorry to rub it in. how'd they lose it fed x has bar codes on it so that where've it goes it gets scanned. sorry to hear man.

I find it difficult to treat thieves with respect. Press the case; insist that they prosecute the guilty party; get a refund from your insurance.

Why is it that we only seem to have the expensive knives get stolen? Does the P.O. personnel X-ray these packages so that they can identify which ones are worthy of theft...by their X-ray profile? Or are they pointed to expensive knives due to their high insurance stickers? Perhaps the cheap ones that go missing are just not reported.
I have sent out and received several hundred USPS small flat rate boxes over the last five yrs or so, and have never had one get lost.
Perhaps I'm just lucky, or maybe I deal in cheap knives...
