Hey guys,
I've got for sale today some A2 steel and 52100 straight razor blanks,
A2- I can cut any of these pieces to length to reduce shipping cost. This is high quality A2 purchased from Aldo. I can't find the receipt and don't remember how much it cost. let me know if the prices are way off.
1 piece precision ground 5/16th x4x36 --$125+ actual shipping cost.
1 piece 1/4th x3x36--$70 + actual shipping cost.
1 piece 1/4th x2.5x 36--$55 +actual shipping cost.
sorry for the horrible pic.
Next up I have straight razor blanks. These are 52100 HT to 60 by Peters HT with cryo treatment. I don't enjoy making these and don't think I'm going to finish them so I'm letting them go. The pivot is 1/8th but may be about a thousandth or two oversized. I had them cut on a water jet. On some of these there is a very small amount of wiggle if you put a .125 pin through the pivot hole. Its very small and I don't think there will be any movement once the handles are attached.
These are
.187 stock,
6.5in overall, 3/4th tall
with a cutting edge length of 3.15
I have 7 of them and they are $15 each + shipping cost.
Finally I have straight razor seconds that the water jet screwed up. The pivot hole on these was supposed to be 1.8th but is definitely not. If you put a .125 pin through there is alot of wiggle room. Maybe this can be fixed by solder or by simply drilling out the hole to accommodate a slightly larger pin size.
These are $5 each.
