Please read this entire post before proceeding.

The following knives are available for sale; I am not interested in trade offers. The prices shown are for payment by personal check or USPS MO. I can do PP, but I ask that you accept the fees if that is the method of payment you prefer. The prices shown also reflect shipping and insurance to a CONUS address. However, I am willing to ship overseas for a little bit more to reflect higher shipping costs. We can discuss specifics if an international buyer is interested. For overseas shipments, the buyer also assumes full responsibility for the knife once it leaves my hands. That said, I have sent several knives overseas and I have never had a knife go missing.

I can hold a knife for a buyer with a small non-returnable deposit. I can also do a payment plan if needed so long as it is reasonable.

The knives are new, unused, and uncarried with the exception of the Tyre, which was used once to cut some rope. The Tyre and the Fitch show very minor handling marks and, even though the Fitch is unused, the selling prices take into account said marks on both knives.

These knives will be listed elsewhere. As such, I reserve the right to refuse a sale without further explanation. Generally speaking though, unless you have been a troll here or you have a bad reputation in transactions, the first time stamp of an unequivocal "I will take the ______" will get the goods.

Please ask questions if you have them and I will strive to do my best in answering them quickly and to your satisfaction.

Tom Ferry (Master Smith) hunter

This gorgeous hunter was one of five knives submitted by Tom to the American Bladesmith Society to become a Journeyman Smith. As such, this knife has been scrutinized by some of the best knife makers in the world for fit and finish to reveal the skill of the maker. The knife has a forged 5160 steel blade deeply ground to ensure effortless cutting. The handle is a single piece of highly figured burl wood that has a lot of warmth and character. It is a dream to hold. The bolsters are sole authorship damascus. Additionally, Tom told me that the year he submitted this knife was the last year a JS candidate could use damascus in a submitted knife. The knife will come with a black sheath by the maker as well as a padded storage case.

BL is 5-5/8”
OAL is 11”

This knife can be yours for $*** shipped CONUS.

John White (Master Smith) presentation fighter

Here is a beautiful JS knife from John White made with 1075 blade steel. The knife has John's own damascus double guard and fluted pommel with an ebony handle accented by a file-worked damascus spacer and nickel silver spacers at the guard. This knife is as perfect as it gets folks. Please note that a year or two ago, John saw this knife and felt that the handle had shrunk slightly over time. Dissatisfied, John asked me if he could re-handle it so that it would be better. When I said yes, he re-handled it with an updated and improved version that intentionally stands ever-so-slightly proud at the guard and pommel. The knife will come with a right-handed brown leather sheath (also by John White) as well as a padded carry case.

BL is 8-9/16”
OAL is 13.5”

The knife and sheath can be yours for $*** shipped CONUS.

Two updates:

1. Fitch is SPF.
2. I just noticed a few specks on the Tom Ferry blade in one of the pics. It's dust. They are not on the blade itself. I will try to get better pics of that knife as soon as the sun comes out here. The handles are also not nearly as dark as they appear in the pic.

The Fitch and Tyre are both sold. Thank you BFC! Three awesome knives are still looking for their lucky new owners.
