Hey my friends. A new grouping of knives from Darrel. My buddy Jackson and I went to hang out at Darrel's shop and got to handle a few of these babies. De-ammmmnnn - the assisted fippers are awesome. I was on Darrel's site earlier tonight and believe that I saw many of these on his site.

Here is a Madd Maxx4 with Ti frame, s30vblade, assisted opener

Darrel has a 'look' you can see from across the room. His knives are so stout with that thumbstud/stop pin arrangement that he challenges you to flip it open as much as you wish. That's not the case with most other makers--they consider it abuse. Well, it is--but if you can stand the heat, then you are doing something right.

All that and they look so good, too. :)

The second one from the top was for sale on this forum last year. Somehow I passed it up. Dayum

God, but those mossaic damascus inserts just really do it for me.

Especially when you contrast the relatively dark patterning of the insert against a polished Ti frame.

More great stuff from Mr. Ralph!

His designs are the best, especially the spearpoints but way beyond my price. I would like to see a production version of the 3" mad maxx spearpoint folder, in the same materials as the larger production version. The big ones are too big for me to carry.
