That is one sweeeeeet dagger Rick! I like all of this set a lot, just waiting to
see the finishing touches 'cause I'm greedy :)

Beautiful work! Great pictures. Good luck in the Big Apple.

Rick - That's pretty damn spectacular! I have to inquire though.... I don't see a solder seam on the habaki.....??? Am I that blind?

There is no seam.... it was hammer worked/stretched onto the ricasso. I have never made a habaki with a seam..... one solid piece, baby!

"Baby"?

Rick. We're friends and all but.......

You know...I keep coming back to look at that dagger. Beyond the obvious and not so obvious technical attributes that I admire, you have a unique and refined artistic sense that really captures me. Man, that's nice work!

I am racing to get stuff done for the NYCKS event on the 18th this month...... argh!:o

I do this every show...... I got lots of time:cool::thumbup:......:eek:WRONG:thumbdn:

These are the blades I'm bringing.... I basiscally have a week and a half to finish them out and make sheaths....... wish me luck:D

I'll post the panic pics as I go.
Rick
