• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

So I thought I'd share mine too. Since I dont feel comfortable buying a Knifemakers membership, I'll have to share here. Knife is 3/16 1095, 9 1/2" blade,5" handle, 1 7/8 wide. Nickle silver guard and pin, Maidou burl wood.(which gave me some sort of itchy rash) Differentially ht w/ clay. This is my first attempt at a light box so pics don't totally show hamon that well. There is some utsuri not visible. Comments ? suggestions? Thanks for looking. Shawn

Thanks everybody, I'm gonna make Coops' light box in the near future,The box I built is crappy, the lights are not diffused so I keep getting a glare. It basically contradicts the purpose huh? Thanks again. Shawn

Looks like a fine knife, Shawn. By the way, "knifemaker" is not a title, rather it is a path you walk in life.

Thanks for the wisdom Jeff, Its a path I just turned onto about 6 months ago, so I dont want to "dis credit" the path for those who have walked alot further. Shawn

Don't feel bad in buying a knifemakers membership, you have arrived. This is an awsome knife. Keep it up.

Chuck
