A few weeks ago there was a thread regarding the quietest opening knife, that anyone owns. Well, how about turning the tables?

What's the LOUDEST Opening Knife you own?

For me, as far as side openers are concerned, it has to be my Strider SMF. When that knife Clicks Everybody listens!! As far as an Auto OTF, I'd have to say it's my 2001 MT HALO III. Although my MT CFO II runs a close second. When it comes to Auto Side Openers, my vote has to go to my 1995 MT L-UDT.

What knives do you have that really Talk the Talk (and can Walk the Walk!)

The Blackwood Skirmish and my Jeff Hall Bounty Hunter, come to mind!

Try flicking out the cold steel 5" tanto voyager. In reverse grip, it sounds like someone's racking a shotgun.

My Kershaw Bumps are the loudest openers I have. My BK9 can make an interesting racket when pulled from it's sheath.

Strider AR and Gen5 SnG. The AR "CLACKS" that can be heard across the street. The SnG "CLICKS" just as loud- truly the most bad-ass folders on the planet. (that's my SnG in my avatar- the bull pivot is amazing).

My Severtech is my loudest opener. Certainly not a covert weapon. I will also mention my most unique sounding knife. My Koji Hara abalone inlaid folder clicks with a very precision sound like no other.

The CRKT Crawford/Kasper FF that I had was pretty loud when snapped open.

Believe it or not my Spyderco Native III has quite a wicked 'pop' when it's opened.

The loudest sounding knive I have is the lockback Al Mar UltraLight Eagle. I can slap that baby open and its as loud as someone clapping. It will definitely turn people's heads to take notice. :D

How do you open something in reverse grip? The Scrab is pretty loud on videoknife.com

I pinch the knife, pivot down, between my thumb and fingertips. (with a clip setup for rt side carry, your thumb is on the clip side) Then either use a wrist snap to pop it open or use my ring finger on the hole/stud.

When I pop open my BM 730 this way, it's pretty loud.

No contest for me. Dalton M9 OTF is the loudest one I have. None of my MT's are even close in power or noise.

The loudest I've ever heard are Dalton minis, the spring on those are so strong they slam open!

Mine is a slipjoint. That's right, a slippie. An LF&C pruner, to be exact. When that thing opens, it literally sounds like rifle fire. The CRACK is quite audible from across the room.
