LOVE and CARRY um = but

You could very well be correct. In all honesty I never follow that segment closely. Cold Steel has a different clientele though :D
Their marketing style lends itself to a slightly different crowd. Not saying that's bad, because it obviously works well for them. For the record, I have nothing against CS products. I've owned a handful of folders, all in the medium size range though, and they were excellent knives. I still own 3 of their fixed blades, Master Hunter, and mini & regular size Pendletons.

I just don't know if that market would work for BM. Who knows, maybe it would be very popular. For me, with the larger size of folders, it makes more sense to carry a fixed blade. I live in blue jeans though, so anything really big doesn't lend itself to comfortable carry.
That's the great thing though, there are endless choices because we all have different tastes...

LOL... I was starting to think you might be a loon, but after reading that, you are OK... :D

I looked at a Mini Rukus at one of the local knife stores a few years back. There was something about them that I liked aesthetically, but didn't think they would be comfortable. I was wrong. It was very comfortable, but I remember thinking to myself, this sucker is huge :D

If you check out the Darryl Ralph line of HTM DDR's ,you will see LARGE blades that sell for a good deal more than than the BM's [ LOTS MORE ] and I own a few of those.

Point being that they sell like crazy, and are LARGE and not nearly as useful a design as the BM's that I own and use.

Making a BM on steroids would be a practical thing as far as sales go [ DDR's prove that ] AND they would be a blade that has actual uses.

There are many makers and designers besides CS,and I am NOT a fan of much of their Chinese crap.

Nor of the owner in his tight black shorts showing his "skills" in the martial arts with the blades he markets.

I use CS as they make the size I want,NOT the blades design I see as useful [ convex/scandi's ].

I would LOVE to see an assisted opener that was made by BM,clip point and convex or flat ground.

On the general look of the XL Voyager,BUT with titanium scales and a user.
