Love it or hate it?

Thanks Chris, I appreciate it! I normally don't like guards, I'm always whittling on something so I like getting my hand up as close to the blade as I can. Hopefully the spine curve will give it some good ergos as well as aesthetics. I like to cary my knives in my pocket with a tether to my belt so I tried to keep this one as compact as possible. Hopefully there will be enough handle on it!

Looks like it's gonna be nice - though i'm more of a deeper finger indent kinda guy. I'm sure it'll serve you well.

Looks good alrighty.Nice clean lines & the handle profile does look comfy.

Thanks Bryan, I appreciate that. I didn't get to work on it today but I did find a piece of Bocote that I had stashed. Might use that on the handle.

Oh yeaaaaaaa. Bocote would look great. Not that I am trying to tell you what to do or anything lol.

Looks really nice! Great size, profile is sweet. I would agree with the finger dip should be deeper as I never like to worry about slipping my finger across the blade. I don't own any without such protection. Other than that, I'm sure you would attract a good amount of buyers. Thanks for sharing!

Had a chance to rough cut the scales today, so Bocote and solid brass pins for this one.

Looks pretty darn good to me. I hate spear points myself but it will cut stuff. That finger notch should be plenty of guard on that little guy.

rocketbomb ..... I love your post. As long as I get a good grind and edge it should be a good cutter. Sometimes things get to serious for me so your post brought a smile.
