Love my BK16!

Yes sir Mr. Terrio! It is a fantastic bargain of a knife. Thank you for the compliment on the stippling.

Very nice! A 16 is probably in my future. I did some mods to my 15 and will post pics in a separate thread soon. What did you use to stipple the handle, a soldering iron? Looks very tidy.
Does anyone else find the handles of the tweeners a bit thin at the index finger countour? My hands are on the bigger side and I can't seem to grip it very tight there, maybe I will make some spacers for it. :)

Hey Cryptyc.....

Thanks for the kind words and thanks for your business. Hope that nicely stippled 16 works very hard for you for a very long time......

Yeah I found them a bit thin as well. Made some liners out of an old xbox game case from my son on law; made a world of difference. Super easy to do, and now the knife feels like a perfect fit for my hands.

Wild,
Yours looks awesome!!

Liam,
Thank you for the kind words. I did use a soldering iron. I also used a very fine tip. I haven't used it enough to make a determination on the grip width.

Mr. Becker,
Thank you very much! I will definitely use it for many years! Great design you came up with. Fantastic shape, size, weight, grind, etc.

Aiki,
I'll keep your mod in mind if I find them to be too thin.

Ok well you guys know me by now and have figured out that I never leave things alone hahaha. I was messing with my BK16 and my BK2 and decided I really wanted them to match in looks so I ended up polishing my BK16. It's not nearly as polished as my BK2 but it's pretty nice. Now they match and I am pleased HA.

although you can't see it in the pic, the roll marks are still visible on the blade.

my polished and convexed BK2. The oil on the blade makes it look wavy. Oil doesn't go even on a polished blade.

you always need your foot in the pics so here's mine hahaha

the Becker boys are ready to play

nice work. i've been thinking about a 16 for a while now. just getting harder to justify the expense when i have an increasing number of knives but still only two hands.

Jober,
Thank you. I am guilty of getting rid of blades I don't use so I can always justify having another, it's a good strategy.

excellent job on the stippled handles! And yes the liners make a huge difference on the 16.
