  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Love my manix 2, want another spydie, what's similar and/or better?

As far as feel in the hand, I think the Para 2 and the Domino are close to the Manix 2.

Some other's to consider
Manix 2 XL
or the curveball suggestion, why not a Yojimbo 2?

Sounds like I have to try the para2.... Now to find a blue one to match the manix. Thanks for all the feedback guys!

If you can find a blue PM2 with m390 steel, you will have an excellent knife. Might be pricy but compared too other knives of similar quality it won t be expensive. Good luck.

PM2 for sure (Everyone should have one), but having said that, the Domino is very close in size and ergonomics to the Manix2 and should also warrant a look, especially if you want to try a framelock. It's closer in size and ergos than the Sage 2, and I think the longevity is going to be better due to the overstop travel bar/steel lockbar interface piece. Either way though, you can't go wrong.

The Manix XL is currently my favorite spyderco design. I just got a Yojimbo 2 and I'm loving it way more than expected! So count this as a second vote for the Yo2. Can't go wrong with the PM2 either.
