just got in my new carbon fiber scaled cricket.

bought it sight unseen so my dragonfly and ladybug would have another friend. wasnt sure about the shape but i like it better than the dragonfly. no sharp edges ('cept the blade, duh...), very pleasing to the eye. smooth action, razon sharp plain edge, heck suffive to say im a happy camper.

its odd, and its awsome. the more i play with it the more it grows on me (till i cut myself, hehe) thanks sal.

that brown truck sure drops off the neatest stuff. (now if it will bring me a C22. humm hey honey, can i sell your car?)

Rich, I was wondering your impression of its size. When I handled it at the store, I felt it too small. The DragonFly is as small as I can go, but wondered how long it takes to get accustomed to its smaller size?
 
I don't like the new ones very much... I have one of the discontinued models with the aluminum handles, and has a little more heft to it than the FRN handles...

it does slash like a mofo though

that blade could be really nasty in skilled hands. My biggest complaint with the FRN ones is that I can trip the linerlock rather easily when gripping it....

I can't speak for the CF ones, since I've never seen one.

makes a great moneyclip as well. i'm actually using it today for that purpose

got a cf dragonfly and the cf cricket at the same time, and actually i like the cricket better.
