The blue ones never happened. I was on the pre-order, but something went wrong and they were never released.
At the time, I just bought another orange one. They are SOLID, fantastic knives.

how do you get the dang carbon fiber off to take it apart?!

If I remember it uses a pressure sensitive adhesive under the carbon fiber. Putting the knife in a waterproof bag and then warming that bag in hot water for 30 minutes should allow the adhesive bond to be weakened. Then its simply a matter of very very gently and carefully pulling the insert out. It may take some finesse and time. Honestly? I would leave it unless its a broken torsion bar.
