Hey there everybody! Today I have another classic DPH tribute. Hope you like it.
Steel is 1/8” x 1” tall in O1 Tool Steel with a lightly tapered tang. HT at 60/61 with cryo. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a satin finish. The edge was under .010” before sharpening and it balances on the front pin.
Dimensions: 7 3/4” OAL, Tip to guard 3 1/2”
Brass guard and Purpleheart make up the handle, accented with orange G10 liners. Secured with brass pins and lanyard tube.
The slender handle feels great in my average sized hand but not so good for larger hands, mine is 3 3/4” from thumb web to palm heel. So if you have big ol’ bear paws this wouldn’t be a good fit. The blade is nice and snug in the sheath.
