Hi fellas, thanks for looking! The scales on this Dropped Hunter is presentation grade tiger Royal Walnut - a hybrid cross between Claro walnut and English walnut. This is the tightest, most intense figured walnut I've ever encountered and I bought all I could get. Deep hand rubbed oil finish. Both sides match perfectly in color - don't let the photo deter you.
