Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my interpretation of the Loveless Big Bear in a smaller version. I wanted to make a Loveless style Big Bear but had the perfect size of CPM-154 on hand for a Little Bear.:) The hollow grinds are mirror finish while the flats and furniture are satin for a nice contrast. The top and bottom of the ricasso are rounded. The clip is sharpened - the spine is rounded and tapers to the clip. The solder joint is straight and true with no pinholes. Superb fit and finish. RH Loveless style sheath. I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM or email gets it. This knife is also posted on my website for sale. SOLDplus $25 shipping.....Paypal preferred. International buyers pay actual shipping costs. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

CPM-154 - .195" at the ricasso
HT to Rc 60-61
10 3/4" OAL
6" double hollow ground blade
Presentation Desert Ironwood Burl scales
Mirror grinds - 400 grit satin flats/furniture
Double lug guard pinned and soldered
Tapered tang with black liners
416 stainless furniture
8-10 oz Loveless style sheath (R or L)

That is one fine looking knife. Who ever gets this one will have a keepsake. I wish I didn't have so many irons in the fire right now.

This is an incredible blade TK, I wish I had the spare money and I really can not believe this is a repost.

Thanks for that! Frankly it's a bargain compared to the big name makers that command $2,000 plus for the same knife with a five year wait.

Many thanks William - glad you like it!

Someday, we'll be sitting around saying, "Man, I had a chance to pick up a beautiful Steingass sub-hilt for $850! Wish I had jumped on that one."

Thanks Ranger Bob. Truer words were never spoken - this cowboy is 65 and there aren't going to be that many more rodeos to attend.

Beautiful workmanship. I really, really wish I could afford it. Thanks for posting such a gorgeous piece of art.

Ray: Thanks - I'm glad you like it. It's really a financially poor situation - the reason is I could make four knives in the time it took me to make this one and easily sell them. This was just a fun project to show what I could do.
