Gentlemen:
For your consideration is this Loveless Style Big Bear in CPM-154CM/Desert Ironwood Burl. I've been working on this fun project a bit at a time among orders. The first guard I built for this knife had the rounded lugs and was the same size as the original....it's in the trash. I added 1/2" to the guard length with lug treatments similar to Steve Johnson's rendition.
The other difference is the hollow grinds taper to a point line 1/4 of the way down the blade rather than starting at the ricasso. The rest is pretty much standard Loveless fare. The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $930 shipped CONUS - Paypal preferred to tksteingass@frontier.com. This fighter is also posted on my website.
