Gentlemen:

For your consideration is this Field Grade Loveless Style Drop Point Hunter in CPM S35VN/Black Linen Micarta. The hollow grinds and flats are brought to 400 grit satin finish while the handle and furniture has been buffed to a near mirror sheen. The top of the spine and the bottom of the ricasso are rounded. This is a very light and comfortable hunter. The Loveless style sheath has a cam that holds the knife securely during insertion and withdrawal with a satisfying pop! I hope you like it! The first "I'll take it," PM, or email gets it. $315 delivered CONUS. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. This knife is also posted on my website. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening. Thanks for viewing my work and your comments are welcome.

V/R,

TK

I'll take that one. Usually miss them, so now's my chance. Confirm it's still available and I'll get the PP out ASAP. Sending PM also.

Don: Excellent! This knife is yours! This knife is SOLD

N.J. reports the one he has used since August of 2013 has done him extraordinary service in Africa. He said it's his EDC and has seen plenty of use. A good report from an African PH.
I'll get another one when I see one that blows up my kilt.

Ben:

Thanks for the positive feedback on my knife's performance. Heat treatment, blade geometry, and steel type all contribute to the performance, but another factor plays into it. In my experience, a toothy, 220 grit edge will maintain its cutting power long after a mirror finish, razor sharp edge will.

agreed !

I can tell you from my experience watching the way good knives get treated by a PH that if yours can hold up for a year it is a hell of a blade. I watched one sharpen a Buck Vanguard on a cement floor and go right on skinning.
