Gentlemen:

For your consideration is my Presentation Grade Loveless inspired Dropped Hunter in stabilized spalted maple and W-2. The stabilized maple has faint curls throughout. The blade was flat ground to .030" then 25 degree bevels applied - the blade was hand rubbed to 2000 grit and etched to reveal a vivid hamon. Superb fit and finish. i also notice a Yellow Lab hair on the blade which can be supplied on special request since there's more where that one came from. :D I haven't made the sheath yet so the buyer may specify right or left hand. I hope you like it! The first "i'll take it" gets it. $350 plus $10 shipping. Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com. Maker's lifetime common sense warranty and free sharpening.

V/R,

TK

Awesome knife TK. One of my favorite all around styles from you; loveless dropped hunter with hamon & spalted maple scales. Nicely done...

You are killing me with those spalted scales, give me a break will ya? Awesome knife TK.

This dude scares me because I have to build and sell 4 to afford one of his for me.;-)
I build regular old Nessmess and Kalinga types for the locals out of A2 since it's about the only thing I can get properly heat treated. It's used all the time for macadamia and coffee bean processing tools so the guys have it down to an art and I can get any size I want/same day. I need to post my hog heart penetrators for you guys to check out. I've sold dozens. $75 with ebony handles.1/8 A2/12 inch dagger style.Crap finish ( 60 grit) but they gidRdun. Keep in mind a $26 machete is a prized possession in my 'hood LOL. Guys with my pig stickers and deep belly skinners are the equivalent of your Rolex GMT/Lexus guys up'ar.
I'm considering doing some 420 machetes with micarta handles( or rubber) so the guys can leave them in the floor of the truck and not worry with rust.
Simple crap.Just tools. Nada mas.
Keep it up TK. I got a batch of 10 Nesssys ready to go to the feed store. That'll get me a couple more from the guys here.

You just keep putting this porn up. There are some of us who are addicted to this kind of trash and resent your continual flaunting of it. I'm having a breakdown now. Time to go to a meeting.;)

With the exception of my pal Ben, thanks for the kind words fellas. :D Ben's just having a hissy fit because he has 16 of my knives and knows he shouldn't buy any more!! :upset:

I think that may be an accurate statement-pretty close anyway.
Just for information. How is this one balanced and the weight compared to your regular Loveless style? Just for information you understand.:o

All around heavier than my regular Loveless because it's flat ground .250" stock versus hollow ground .200" stock. It's a tech blade heavy and a substantial knife.

I really love all of your knives, especially some of your recent models. If I ever collect enough funds, I hope for a custom order done by you. Maybe something with redwood burl.

Thanks! A Woods Scalpel always looks good in Redwood Burl :)

WOW!! Amazing knife. If bladeforum.com only had a payment plan. LOL!!!!!!

Thanks! I know what you mean - I've always wanted a 63 Corvette split window coupe, but to no avail.
