Royal Walnut is a hybrid cross between Eastern Black Walnut and Claro Walnut - extremely dense and tight fiddleback figure and nice color to these scales. The scales have eight hand rubbed coats of Truoil finish. The clip is sharpened on this knife. The solder joint is perfectly executed with no pin holes. The horizontal carry wet formed sheath has a flared opening - a cam holds the knife securely and can be worn right, left, cross, or scout carry. Superb fit and finish. I hope you like it!
