Just wanted to let everyone know that I am taking orders from my website that is listed below my name. These knives are made in the Loveless Style as this is how I learned to make knives and I like the look and feel of this style. Currently it takes me about 45 days to complete a knife and each knife comes with a custom sheath made just like Loveless makes them. If you don't see a knife that you like and would like different handle materials or other options, just email me and I will be glad to make you one just like you want.

Here is my DLB Recon 1 Hunting Knife available in either 4" or 3.5" blade length

  • Blade Finish: Mirror Finish with Deep Hollow Grind
  • Sheath: Brown Leather with Black edging for a professional look

  • Design: Clip Point Hunting Knife

The colorations on the blade are reflections in the mirror polish as I don't tkae very good photos but hope to get better with time.

$100 each includes sheath of your color choice and shipping. Delivery time to you is 2 weeks and is available with my Loveless Style Logo and also a lanyard hole with nickel silver tube if you want one. I do accept PayPal.

I think he is okay, he is registered as a knifemaker and his name is in orange. Norfleet, did you pay for a knifemakers membership? If so you can sell your knives you made here. Okay I have put the target on my back and ready for the arrows, moderators please correct me if I am wrong.

yes, I paid for a knifemaker subscription but have been on these great forums longer just as a registered user and liked these forums so much that I wanted to sell my knives here so that is why I purchased the knifemaker subscription.

That is perhaps the best blend of modern materials and traditional design I have ever seen! great work!:thumbup: . That said I may have to pay your site a visit in the near future.....

Hello Norfleet I have looked at your web site and your knives look great! I am a bit new to the buying customs knives game I have one in the mail and two being made. The makers I have delt with so far did not want any money up front. I know these folks , one lives near me and the other I see sell knives here very often. I just feel a little uncomfortable paying 100% ( 50% maybe) in advance to some business I don't know and is far enough away I have no recourse. I actually tried hard to find some post on a forum of a customer , I could not find any. I don't mean this to sound as bad as it does. I will say this, put a sambar stag drop point hunter of yours at close to your web price on this board and I will buy it.
 
there is a link on my website of what my customers have emailed and said about my knives but I understand you not wanting to pay up front. I rarely have any knives left over in the shop but am always working on orders so that is why the post says 2 weeks delivery time which is for the Recon only. The Loveless styles take longer and thus there is now a 45 day waiting period but if I get many more orders I may have to extend that for at least a 60to 90 day waiting period so I won't get too deep in orders.
 
I looked at the site when you first posted. If your Loveless types look as good "in person" then they are very nice.
 
Thanks for the compliments everyone, I try to make my knives as good as Bob Loveless does, maybe I will get there someday.
