I recently came across a sub hilt fighter in the loveless design made of ats 34. The owner said it was a japanese maker and the makers mark was Neidoh or something similiar. There was also a picture in the mark of what looked like a carp. Anyone know who this maker may be. The knife looked pretty nice and was for sale.

Thanks

John

Hi John,

Based upon your mark's description the maker you are referring to is the respected Koji Hara from Japan.

His mark includes his name surrounded by a fish (Carp?). He rarely makes large blades nowadays, but he has in the past. Here's his website. That said there is a BIG following of Japanese makers who emulate RWL, so it may be someone else.
