I can't wait to get one of those! Thanks for the pics and Congrats on the score.

OUTSTANDING!! You better have a Sodbuster in your pocket, Piggyplucker!!

Nice Going, they are nice. enjoy. I may have missed it, what price are these going for in CC and standard grade at the Show? Thanks

Man, I can't wait to get home and beat on mine... Stuck in Orlando until Saturday. :(

Here you go Jeepnut, went out in the backyard and beat on this one a little:

Not a comp finish, but it is on the way. :D

Yep, I love mine to! Congrats on the blade:thumbup:

The comp finish above was $287 plus tax, same as HR with same finish

Great knives, that is for sure. The Comp grade was nice but I fell in love with the black/black. That black linen just looks too good and I couldn't pass it up, I actually turned my Comp. grade over to someone else and brought home two black/blacks.

:D:D

Just to clarify......that is the SARsquatch CE. Not the CG.

CE = Competition Edge

CG = Combat Grade - i.e. coated

Yeah, the Black Linen really looked and felt great! Super score for those that got one of them. :D

are the CG and CE(or competition finished) blade the same thicknesses?

I bought a black/black and a tan/olive. Both are two of the nicest coated Busses I own. Excellent grinds. And Eric is right about the black linen; it's exceptional. My tan scales are unusually dark. They look oiled, but so far, they haven't faded any, so I'm wondering...

On my SAR-5 I have the same thing, bright tan canvas micarta.

They probably just used a different resin for the batch.
