In spite of the heat I had a couple of friends at my forge last weekend experimenting with pattern welds. This is from one of the billets that we made up.
Forged from 20 layers of 15N20 and 1084 high carbon steels
Heat treated in my Evenheat furnace to Rc 58-60 using 3 normalizing and two tempering cycles to produce a fine grain throughout the blade
Flat grind with forged texture on the flats
Professionally stabilized spalted maple handle
Overall length is 9 1/2 inches with a blade of 5 inches
Leather scabbard with a belt loop for a right hand carry
SOLD delivered within these United States. My PayPal and email address is gldrewknives@gmail.com
